Flexopad: Precision and versatility in pressure control
Flexopad is a hydraulic padder designed with a pumping control system that allows precise, real-time adjustment of the pressure profile (NIP), adapting to the specific demands of each production process.
It incorporates the S-Roll floating roller technology, a well-established system in the industry known for its high performance and reliability, ensuring uniform pressure distribution across the working width, even under varying load conditions.
This equipment is manufactured in two standard configurations:

Horizontal configuration, with two opposing floating rollers.

Vertical configuration, with a single floating roller and a fixed counter roller.
Both versions provide a high degree of adaptability to various industrial applications, offering optimal control of bath thickness, greater uniformity in surface treatment, and a significant improvement in the final product quality.
Structure and Technical Design of the Flexopad Roller
The Flexopad roller consists of a solid internal shaft and a steel metal sleeve coated with elastomer, which serves as the active working surface. Between these two elements are housed all the hydraulic components necessary to create a sealed pressure chamber and an oil return chamber, ensuring efficient and safe operation of the system.
The assembly’s seal is secured by an axial sealing gasket, accompanied by lateral components made of copper with Teflon scrapers, which maintain constant pressure thanks to a system of calibrated springs.
The external sleeve can be customized with different types of technical coatings, depending on the application, the type of material to be processed, or the required working conditions.
Flexopad for dyeing: Precise application of dye and resin
The Flexopad for dyeing has been specifically designed for the application of dyes and resins on cotton fabrics, synthetic fibers, and their blends. Its system of flexion controlled by variable hydraulic pressure ensures a uniform contact footprint, guaranteeing precise and consistent impregnation across the entire width of the fabric.
MAIN COMPONENTS:

Hydraulic pressure rollers (2 units): Manufactured with a controlled flexion system, coated with technical rubber TEXTINT or SILTEX, depending on the application. Available in hardness levels of 65º or 75º Shore A.

Entry guide rollers (2 units): Coated in stainless steel, they ensure stable and precise guidance of the fabric as it enters the foulard.

Curved opening roller: Optimizes the opening and flatness of the fabric before the impregnation process.

Stainless steel tank: Includes hydraulic connections and water outlet. (Note: proportional steam valve and condensate drain not included.)

Chemical bath distributor tube: Ensures a uniform distribution of the chemical bath over the fabric.

Pneumatic vat lifting system: Allows safe and quick handling for cleaning operations or bath changes.

Bath temperature indicator: Provides real-time monitoring of the process’s thermal parameters.

Exit guide roller: Also coated in stainless steel, it facilitates the smooth extraction of the fabric after the process.

Integrated hydraulic unit: Installed on the drive side of the machine, it ensures precise pressure control over the rollers.

Operator control panel: Complete console for proportional adjustment of pneumatic and hydraulic parameters.
Flexopad for finishing: maximum efficiency and adaptability
The FLEXOPAD technology ensures continuous bending compensation, allowing a specific contact pressure (NIP) to be maintained for each type of fabric.
Thanks to the ability to apply variable linear pressures, a uniform and reproducible distribution of the bath across the entire fabric width is achieved, significantly optimizing process performance and finishing quality.
